Happy Church YouTube Tools — Privacy Policy

Happy Church YouTube Tools is operated by The Happy Church for authorized church personnel to administer the church’s YouTube channel. It uses YouTube API Services.

Information we access and use

With an authorized administrator’s permission, the tool accesses channel identification and video and playlist information, including titles, descriptions, identifiers, visibility settings, and playlist membership. This may include private content accessible to the authorized account.

We use this information to inspect and organize the church’s channel and carry out authorized video and playlist management. Scheduled changes require administrator authorization.

Authorization and storage

Google handles sign-in and consent. The tool does not collect or store your Google password. It stores authorization tokens on church-controlled computers or servers so approved operations can run without repeated sign-in. Access to these credentials is restricted.

Channel information and operational records may also be stored where needed to provide and troubleshoot the tool.

Information sharing

Information is exchanged with Google to operate the YouTube connection. Authorized church personnel and technical service providers, including AI-assisted administration tools, may process relevant channel information as needed to perform requested work.

We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Your choices and deletion

You can revoke the tool’s access through Google Account permissions.

To disconnect the tool and request deletion of stored authorization tokens and associated channel data, contact happy@thehappychurch.org. We will fulfill deletion requests within seven days. Deleting locally stored data does not delete the original videos or playlists on YouTube.

Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Use of this tool is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service.
